Patient Eligibility & Affordability
Whether patients are uninsured, insured, on Medicaid or on Medicare, they are eligible to receive care at HealthLinc. HealthLinc accepts most commercial insurance and offers a sliding fee scale based on household size and annual income.
Regardless of patient insurance status or sliding fee scale qualification, HealthLinc offers a variety of services at a low cost. As a community health center, HealthLinc aims to enable patients from all backgrounds to receive the care they need from professional and compassionate medical personnel.

HealthLinc is here to serve the community through medical care. HealthLinc offers a broad range of services: medical, dental, optometry, behavioral health, pediatrics, women’s health, prenatal care, chiropractic care, podiatry, chronic care management, preventative care, sick visits, substance abuse, pharmacy, labs and testing, COVID-19 testing and vaccination, clinical pharmacy, community outreach, health insurance enrollment assistance and medical-legal partnership.
Each HealthLinc location offers a variety of these services, so you can tackle multiple health needs at one location and even plan more than one appointment on the same day, eliminating the need for multiple trips. There are also public transportation options available near several HealthLinc clinics.

HealthLinc makes access easy by serving patients at 14 clinics across eight locations: Valparaiso, Michigan City, Knox, Mishawaka, East Chicago, South Bend, La Porte and Morrocco.

Community Outreach
HealthLinc plugs into the community beyond the day-to-day operations of its clinics through various community outreach initiatives. This outreach includes community baby showers, healthy cooking classes, awareness events, wellness activities, educational presentations, fun celebrations, no-cost screenings and community health fairs.
