Before joining HealthLinc’s Behavioral Health Residency Program, Kayla worked in school social work, where she supported students and families through some of their most challenging moments. These experiences shaped her compassionate, person-centered approach and reinforced the importance of meeting people where they are to build trusting, therapeutic relationships. Now transitioning into the healthcare field, Kayla is eager to apply her skills in a new setting, support all communities and continue growing both personally and professionally. She’s excited to learn, contribute and make a meaningful impact.

Kayla received her bachelor’s degree in sociology from Purdue University and her Master of Social Work from Florida State University.
