HealthLinc and Healthy Families Dunebrook have partnered to introduce TotLinc, a free educational play series designed to support physical and cognitive development for children up to age five.

The monthly sessions will take place at HealthLinc La Porte and be facilitated by Healthy Families Dunebrook. Each program will be centered around a monthly topic focused on supporting families with new babies and toddlers and empowering them to be the best parents they can be.

“Our partnership with Healthy Families Dunebrook to launch TotLinc represents our commitment to supporting families and fostering the healthy development of young children in our community,” said Melissa Mitchell, HealthLinc CEO. “By providing free, accessible and engaging programs like this, we aim to empower parents and guardians with the knowledge and resources they need to help their children thrive during these critical early years.”

Playgroups include monthly educational topics such as Finding a Medical Home, Horseplay and Childproofing Your Home, fun activities, resources, books, snacks and more.

TotLinc takes place on the third Friday of every month in the community room at HealthLinc La Porte (400 Teegarden St.) from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. CST. TotLinc is open to all children ages 0-5 and their caregivers; no registration is required.
