Malinda Maitland
Peer Recovery Coach
LaPorte County
I am a certified peer recovery coach who brings compassion, lived experienced and a steady, judgement-free presence to the individuals I support. My work is rooted in accountability, healthy communication and learning to respond rather than react. I meet people exactly where they are, offering practical, realistic support as they face challenges. Recovery, to me, is a daily commitment to becoming the healthiest and most honest version of ourselves. It’s choosing growth, showing ourselves grace and allowing community to walk beside us. I am proud to work at HealthLinc, where integrated physical and behavioral health services truly support the whole person. When individuals can access medical care, recovery support and mental health services in one place, barriers are reduced, and healing becomes more accessible. Every day, I’m grateful for the opportunity to help others find their voice, build resilience and move toward the life they deserve.
