Makhaila is a pharmacy resident dedicated to aiding communities with the highest need. As a clinical pharmacist, it is her goal to advocate for her community and provide patients with exceptional care. Makhaila’s pronouns are she/her.

Makhaila received her bachelor’s degrees in biology and pharmaceutical studies from the University of New Mexico and received her Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of New Mexico College of Pharmacy. She is currently completing HealthLinc’s Pharmacy Residency Program.
