As a behavioral health resident, Sara enjoys helping her patients and advocating for their needs. Growing up in Hammond, she was able to observe the disparities that individuals in the community faced, and it created a desire to help and ensure resources for everyone in the community. She believes that health care should be a fundamental right, and everyone should have access to proper physical and mental care. 

Sara received her bachelor’s degree and her Master of Social Work from Indiana University South Bend. She is currently completing HealthLinc’s Behavioral Health Residency Program.
