Pharmacy Residency Program
The HealthLinc Pharmacy Residency Program is a PGY1 Community-Based Pharmacy Residency at HealthLinc Community Health Center, with a focus on ambulatory care.
The HealthLinc Pharmacy Residency Program is a PGY1 Community Pharmacy Residency at HealthLinc Community Health Center, with a focus on ambulatory care. Residents have the opportunity to provide chronic disease state management by working under multiple collaborative practice agreements. The residency also partners with Purdue University for the research, business plan and drug information learning experiences and will complete a teaching certificate through the Indiana Pharmacy Teaching Certificate Program (IPTeC).
HealthLinc’s mission is to create healthy communities. We are committed to providing coordinated, comprehensive, accessible care. HealthLinc services include medical, dental, optometry, clinical pharmacy, health insurance enrollment assistance, pediatrics, women’s health, including prenatal care and more.
HealthLinc is a Federally Qualified Health Center system in northern Indiana. Our collaborative interdisciplinary approach to patient care sets our program apart and raises it to the next level. Besides pharmacy residents, there are other types of learners at HealthLinc, including P4 pharmacy students, nurse practitioner residents and other medical professional students. There are two PGY1 Community Pharmacy positions available; one located in Valparaiso, IN and the other in Mishawaka, IN.

Jonathan Berry – PharmD (Professional Development)

Dr. Jonathan Berry works as a clinical pharmacist at HealthLinc Knox. Additionally, Jonathan is a co-preceptor for the professional development learning experience within the residency program. Jonathan started this position after finishing his first year of residency at HealthLinc Valparaiso and wanted to stay on with HealthLinc due to the amazing relationships he made with patients and the interprofessional collaboration between all care team members at HealthLinc. Diabetes, hypertension and hepatitis C treatment are areas of interest for Jonathan. Beyond work, Jonathan loves to spend time with his family, is an avid movie/tv show watcher and loves watching basketball when in season, especially the Purdue men’s basketball team and the Indiana Pacers.
Brock Davis – PharmD, BCACP, BC-ADM, CDCES (Orientation)

Dr. Brock Davis serves as the residency program director for the PGY1 Community-Based Pharmacy Residency Program and is the director of pharmacy at HealthLinc. He lives in Granger, IN, with his wife and two sons. In his free time, he enjoys being a hands-on problem solver, taking on projects around the house, spending time with family and friends and cheering on the Purdue Boilermakers and Detroit Lions.
Brittany Kubal – PharmD (340B Program Management)

Dr. Brittany Kubal is the assistant director of pharmacy. She takes great pride in overseeing the 340B program and ensuring ongoing compliance. She values the opportunity to support HealthLinc’s mission and greatly enjoys collaborating with the amazing team at HealthLinc! She lives in Valparaiso, IN, with her fiancé, two children and one cat. She enjoys anything outdoors (camping, hiking, wakeboarding and snowboarding), being with friends and family and traveling as much as possible.
Keith Junker – PharmD (Mishawaka Community-Based Pharmacy Practice)

Dr. Keith Junker is currently the pharmacy manager at HealthLinc Pharmacy in Mishawaka. This is his first year with HealthLinc and 20th year overall as a pharmacist. Over the years, he has worked with numerous pharmacy students as they pursued their pharmacy degrees. Now, he is excited to be part of the HealthLinc residency program to continue working with new pharmacists. Keith is an avid sports fan. He enjoys playing baseball and basketball with his young son, while also serving as a coach for his son’s teams. In the summer, you will find him out on the lake with his family. He also enjoys reading, cooking and DIY projects around the house.
Kristen Madson– PharmD (Business Plan and Quality Improvement)

Dr. Kristen Madson is the clinical pharmacist at HealthLinc Centennial in South Bend, IN. She completed her PGY1 Community Pharmacy Residency with HealthLinc/Purdue University in 2019–2020 and was the first pharmacy resident at HealthLinc Mishawaka. Kristen was drawn to HealthLinc’s interprofessional approach to care, which empowers each team member to practice at the top of their license while working collaboratively to provide exceptional patient care. Outside of work, Kristen enjoys traveling, staying active, reading and spending time with family and friends.
Stephanie McAfee – PharmD, BCACP (Mishawaka Clinic-Based Pharmacy Practice)

Dr. Stephanie McAfee is the clinical pharmacist at HealthLinc Mishawaka. She completed her PGY1 and PGY2 Ambulatory Care Pharmacy Residency in 2019-2021 at Saint Joesph Health System, where she worked as ambulatory care faculty before joining the HealthLinc team in 2024. Her professional passions focus on chronic care management and preventative care. Outside of work, Stephanie enjoys spending time with her family (husband, daughter, new baby and dalmatian Puddles), playing sand volleyball, relaxing at the lake and her “grandma” hobbies (puzzles, crochet, etc.).
Henry Papineau – PharmD, BCACP, BC-ADM (Valparaiso Clinic-Based Pharmacy Practice)

Dr. Henry Papineau is currently serving as the primary site coordinator and as a clinical pharmacist at HealthLinc Valparaiso. After completing his PGY1 Community Pharmacy Residency in 2019-2020 with HealthLinc in Valparaiso, Henry served as the clinical pharmacist for HealthLinc La Porte and Knox before returning to the Valparaiso clinic. Henry entered HealthLinc’s residency with a strong interest in ambulatory care, teaching, professional development and interdisciplinary care opportunities that the residency had to offer. He enjoys spending time with his family, playing guitar, cooking and watching TV (Game of Thrones, Stranger Things and Purdue men’s basketball).
Elizabeth Roy – PharmD, BC-ADM, CDCES (Professional Development)

Dr. Elizabeth Roy is the clinical pharmacist at HealthLinc Michigan City and has been with HealthLinc since 2018. Her clinical interests include diabetes, hepatitis C and tobacco cessation, as well as precepting the HealthLinc Family Nurse Practitioner Residency Program. She lives in Chesterton, IN, with her husband (Danny) and son (Teddy) and enjoys traveling and cheering on the Chicago Bears and Purdue Boilermakers.
Amy Heck Sheehan – BS, PharmD (Drug Information)

Dr. Sheehan is a professor of pharmacy practice at Purdue University and a drug information specialist with Indiana University Health. She enjoys working with students, residents and fellows and is passionate about medical literature evaluation. She lives in Indianapolis, IN, with her husband (Kevin), son (Nick) and daughter (Emma). She enjoys reading, playing sand volleyball and traveling the world with her family.
Jessica Sinclair – PharmD, MATS, BC-ADM (Teaching)

Dr. Jessica Sinclair is a clinical pharmacist at our East Chicago clinic. She has a passion for diabetes management, enjoys precepting residents and students and is getting better at learning Spanish (un poquito). If there is one thing to note about Jessica, it’s that she is obsessed with pizza, but only pepperoni! Jessica is a mom to two amazing boys, loves spending time with her family and taking her dogs – (Purdue) Pete and Lola – on walks!
Margie Snyder – PharmD, MPH, FCCP, FAPhA (Project Management, Research Series)

Dr. Snyder is a professor at the Purdue College of Pharmacy and the preceptor for the project management learning experience. She genuinely enjoys helping others develop skills and confidence in research. She lives in Indianapolis, IN with her husband (Zack) and children (Violet and Victor). She enjoys running and staying active, traveling and trying new restaurants.
Alex Wilcox – PharmD, BC-ADM (Valparaiso Clinic-Based Pharmacy Practice)

Dr. Alex Wilcox is currently serving as a clinical pharmacist at HealthLinc Valparaiso after completing his PGY1 Community Pharmacy Residency in 2022-2023. He lives in Valparaiso, IN, with his wife (Clea), cats (Dox and Addy) and dog (Molly). Outside of work, he travels often on the weekends to visit friends and family and enjoys playing basketball, weightlifting and running a DnD campaign. His clinical interests are diabetes management, smoking cessation, hepatitis C and hypertension.
Jacob Zanolla – PharmD

Dr. Jacob Zanolla is currently serving as the pharmacy manager at HealthLinc Pharmacy in Valparaiso. After completing his Community-Based Pharmacy Residency in 2023-2024 with HealthLinc Valparaiso, Jake took on a staff pharmacist position before moving into the manager role in December of 2024. His professional interests include academia/teaching, pharmacy advocacy, diabetes management and tobacco cessation. Outside of the pharmacy, he enjoys spending time with his girlfriend (Abby) and dog (Banks), playing bass guitar and video games.
