VALPARAISO, IN —HealthLinc has partnered with the North Pole to make sure young patients have time with Santa over the holidays. Between November 23 and December 4, any child who has a well-child checkup will get a holiday gift from HealthLinc and a ticket to have a Zoom meeting or phone call with Santa.
The 2020 holiday season will look very different and for those still facing challenges such as extended unemployment and restrictions on daily life, this can be even more difficult. HealthLinc wants to make sure that young people are receiving their much-needed medical care so they can enjoy the holidays in good health.
“The COVID-19 pandemic has already changed so much in the lives of our young people,” states Beth Wrobel, HealthLinc CEO. “Their school routines, recreational activities and time with friends and family are different and many of them are experiencing a very high level of stress. We want to help them enjoy the holidays and keep the tradition of time with Santa.”
Meetings with Santa will be limited to 10 minutes and can be done over the phone or through Zoom. Meeting times will be determined at the well-child checkup. To schedule a well-child checkup, call 888-508-1060.
