Valparaiso, IN — HealthLinc and Purdue University Northwest will host two COVID-19 vaccination clinics on Thursday, April 15 and 22 from 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. CST in the Dworkin Student Services and Activities Complex on the Purdue University Northwest Westville Campus located at 1401 US 421, Westville, IN.

“HealthLinc continues to explore ways to make vaccines easily accessible to as many people as possible in an effort to stop the spread of the virus,” states Beth Wrobel, HealthLinc CEO.  “This is a great opportunity for the students, staff and surrounding community to receive their COVID-19 vaccination.”

The first identified case of Coronavirus in Indiana occurred on March 6, 2020. Since then approximately 700,000 cases have been reported throughout the state and just under 13,000 people have died from COVID-19. HealthLinc began administering vaccines on January 18, 2021, and since then has provided over 33,000 Moderna and Johnson & Johnson vaccines.

HealthLinc will be administering the Johnson & Johnson vaccination during both clinics to anyone 18 and older (proof of age is required). Those interested in receiving a vaccine should make an appointment by calling 1-888-580-1060 Ext. 3401.

“We have had large crowds at most of our vaccination clinics. I encourage anyone wanting to get the vaccine during these events to make an appointment,” continues Wrobel. “We also have vaccination appointments available at most of our HealthLinc clinics.”
