Sheilah Adams, MSN FNP-C
Sheilah Adams is a Family Nurse Practitioner in Mishawaka. She obtained her Master of Nursing Practice from Walden University and has specialized in critical and cardiac care. Sheilah is the founder of Black Nurses Educating the Community, a non-for-profit organization empowering at-risk populations by providing education and awareness about chronic disease.
Rebecca Bauer, MD
Rebecca Bauer is a Family Practice Physician in Mishawaka. She is a 2010 graduate of the Indiana University School of Medicine where she participated in several student interest groups involving internal and family medicine, rural health, and medically underserved populations. She has extensive experience in Family and Adult medicine, Pediatrics, and Newborns, Prenatal care and deliveries, as well as, additional OB training. Rebecca is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the Indiana State Medical Association.
Erica Garrett, CNM, MSN, BSN
Erica Garrett, CNM, MSN, BSN, is a certified nurse midwife at the Mishawaka clinic. She is a graduate of Indiana University and Frontier Nursing University. Erica has worked as a RN in the Mother-Baby Unit and in Breastfeeding Support Services in the nursery and NICU at Memorial Hospital South Bend/Beacon Health Systems. She is also a Certified Lactation Specialist.
Milcah Gichuru, FNP
Milcah Gichuru, FNP, is a family nurse practitioner at HealthLinc’s Mishawaka Clinic. With over 600 hours of clinical rotation in the areas of family health, adults and geriatrics, pediatrics, and women’s health, Milcah provides comprehensive care for a wide variety of patients with diverse needs. Milcah’s Family Nurse Practitioner Master’s degree was completed at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, with undergraduate studies at Indiana University. In addition to practicing at HealthLinc, Milcah is an RN on staff at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in Mishawaka.
Samantha Jester, CNM
Samantha Jester is a Certified Nurse Midwife in Mishawaka. She has been a nurse for over 18 years, with 17 years of experience in obstetrics. Samantha received her Master of Science as a Certified Nurse Midwife from the University of Indianapolis and is a member of the American College of Nurse Midwives and a member of the Association of Women’s Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses.
Katherine A. Lisoni, MD
Site Medical Director
Katherine Lisoni is a practicing family physician and Site Medical Director for HealthLinc Mishawaka. She is board certified in Family Practice and a graduate of the Northwestern University School of Medicine. Dr. Lisoni completed a foreign study program in Buenos Aires, Argentina and developed a love for travel and the country. She has volunteered for multiple agencies that focus on underserved populations and health education. Dr. Lisoni is fluent in both English and Spanish.
Kathleen Long, NP
Tamara C. Olson, MSN, FNP, NP-C
Tamara Olson is a Family Nurse Practitioner at Healthlinc’s Mishawaka clinic. She received her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Indiana University South Bend, and her Masters of Science in Nursing from Indiana University Purdue University. She has worked in hospice, hospital, and clinical settings specializing in pain management and general care. She is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and the Coalition of Advanced Practice Nurses of Indiana.
Jana Schenkel, CNM
Jana Schenkel is a certified nurse midwife at our Mishawaka clinic. She received her midwife training in Germany, then received her Bachelor’s in Nursing from the University of Detroit Mercy and her Masters in Nursing from Wayne State University. She has recently worked as an emergency room RN, a sexual assault nurse examiner, and in the home health system throughout cities in Michigan. She has basic training in fetal heart tracing, and is an expert witness for Sexual Assault Victims. She is also fluent in German and Russian.
Michelle Streb, NP
Michelle Streb attended Indiana University and Goshen University for her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Masters in Nursing, respectively. She holds an array of certifications and distinctions. With nearly 30 years of nursing experience, Michelle has joined HealthLinc’s team as a Nurse Practitioner.
Judith Weaver-Yoder, RN, CNM
Judith Weaver-Yoder serves as a Certified Nurse Midwife at HealthLinc’s Mishawaka location. A member of the American College of Nurse Midwives for two decades, she has been a practitioner and manager of Midwifery of Michiana since 1995. She holds degrees in Nursing and Social Work from Goshen College in Goshen and a Master of Science in Nursing from Case Western Reserve University. Her certification in Nurse-Midwifery is from Frontier Nursing School of Midwifery & Family Nursing.
Daniel Kinsey, MD-P
Dr. Daniel Kinsey is Behavioral Health Consultant in Mishawaka. He is a graduate of Eastern Kentucky and received his medical degree from the University of Louisville. He is certified with the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and holds licenses in Colorado, Kentucky, South Carolina, and Indiana. Dr. Kinsey is a member of the American Society of Clinical Psychopharmacology, the American College of Physician Executives, the American Medical Association, the American Psychiatric Association, and the American Association of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry. His clinical interests include Child and Adolescent psychiatry and Cognitive Behavior Therapy.
Sandy Imanse, LCSW
Sandy Imanse has over 25 years of social work experience. She has a very diverse background within her field, with positions ranging from mental health therapy to a public school guidance counselor. Sandy earned her Bachelor of Social Work from Western Michigan University and her Master of Social Work from Michigan State University. She comes to HealthLinc excited to make a difference to our patients in Mishawaka.
Thomas Keller, LCSW
Thomas Keller serves as a Behavioral Health Consultant as part of HealthLinc’s integrated health program. Also on staff at Oaklawn as a licensed clinical social worker, Thomas received his B.A. degree in Criminal Justice and Psychology from Indiana University and his Master’s in Social Work from East Carolina University. He has more than 20 years of experience in his field working with addictions, abused and neglected children, and emotional and behavior disorders.
